wwiifirearms
I was contacted today by a man the has inherited two registered vz26 submachineguns. He says the ATF took 9 months, but the guns are finally transferred from the estate to the heir and they are looking for offers. His expectations are pretty high. Any idea what these are worth, assuming they are in average or better shape? I can't find any that have sold recently online. My guess would be comparable to Reising or M2 Carbine values, $4000 - $6000. Anyone willing to share experience or opinions? If I can buy them both, anyone interested in one?(shooting two at once seems dangerous ;-) )-Ray Edited December 9, 2012 by wwiifirearms
timkel
They are rare if original. If they are tube guns, still rare just worth less.I can't remember ever seeing a fully transferable VZ26 for sale. Price? I have no idea. But I'm sure you will be getting offers.A pichttp://world.guns.ru/userfiles/images/smg/smg46/sa26.jpg
wwiifirearms
While the heir seemed to describe a sub gun, I am now wondering if these are actually the ZB vz. 26 light machinegun. I am going to try to arrange an inspection. The more I think about it, a ZB vz. 26 would be more likely and the owner is likely just going by what the papers say. -wwiifirearms
