ftc3906
Here is the ad copy verbatim from another message board. Find the unintentional humor. "This is a Colt Thompson, It has all its original Colt parts including the two pieceactuator etc. I acquired this gun from J Curtis Earl several years back. He told meit was sent originally to the New York sate penile institution and was used as aprison gun. Guns on both sides of its serial number were sent to the US Navy forthe marines. So this gun is of the same type of early thompsons sent to the Navy.It had a small chip out of the for-end stock near the front edge so I had agunsmith with good wood repair abilities repair it. I have shot this gun severaltimes and it shoots flawlessly. I have many extras that go with it. One colt drumoriginal , one newly made drum , about ten or more 20 round mags including aearly colt and some british type, commando mags., ten or more 30 roundmags.,original oiler, reprodution FBI case , custome Red Ox carry case, etc. This isa C&R gun and all NFA rules apply. I always felt this was a forever keeper ,however I have another interesting opportunity. Thank you for your interest"

mnshooter
It was used to guard Dillinger and other "large" criminals? Criminals with "lengthy" records? Criminals who got stiff sentences? Ok, I'll quit. Edited February 23, 2012 by mnshooter
